One of my favorite gadgets is my digital camera. It's a little red Kodak Easyshare M763 camera that just fits in my hand. Before I got this camera, I didn't take pictures because my pictures always came out fuzzy. This little camera has a wonderful setting on it that compensates for a slight movement by me or the subject. It also has many other settings that I have started playing with. I like the fact that I can crop pictures in the camera if I choose before downloading them.
One of my favorite types of subjects to take pictures of is flowers. I especially like taking pictures of unusual flowers or flowers I grow in my flowerbeds. In the spring, I like to take my camera with me when walking and take pictures of flowers I haven't seen before. Later I can do some research and find out what type they are.
Cat's are another favorite subject of mine-especially those with major "catattitude". I sometimes like to take pictures of cats that I see when I'm out walking. Last year I entered two pictures in the fair I'd taken with my little camera. I didn't win any prizes; but the picture I entered of one of our cats sold. That's more of a compliment than any prize.

Having this camera allows me to take multitudes of pictures and put them on my computer, blogs or wiki's. I've enjoyed setting up photo albums for different purposes on different sites. Picasa works well for creating slide shows to put on blogs; but I'm finding that picasa doesn't work automatically with my pbworks wiki. Pbworks will import a slide show from slideshow.com or flicker. I read that there's supposed to be a button that can be added to picasa to send files to flicker; but haven't found out how to do that yet. I'm hoping to work on that more in the near future-as well as playing with some of the features of this camera that I haven't experimented with much up to this time.
